Opera in Williamsburg

Opera in Williamsburg is an opera company creating fully-staged opera performances with world-class casts and a creative team at the Kimball Theatre in April and October.

About Us: 
Opera in Williamsburg is dedicated to bringing to Williamsburg, Virginia fully-staged intimate opera with outstanding cast and staff and with effective and imaginative sets, scenery, and costumes achieved at a minimal cost. It will produce mainstream repertoire works that are not often done at smaller opera houses with great integrity and beauty and will offer an opprtunity to debut them to singers who are manifestly ready for the roles. It will be funded by ticket sales and by support of the community, and will maintain a relationship with the International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI).
