Our 1890 historic schoolhouse has transformed into 12 one-of-a-kind rooms and private cottages. The butter-yellow 1890s schoolhouse features six guest rooms and six cottages are nestled within our gardens. The exquisite design and comforts in each room will give you the romantic getaway to a wine country resort that you’ve been dreaming of. Each of our inn rooms and cottages features private bathrooms, luxurious linens and robes, a complimentary continental breakfast each morning and beautiful views of our grounds. Every cottage has a private patio for warm romantic nights under the stars. There is one pet-friendly cottage with an additional fee you must call to reserve.

Hope and Glory Inn is owned and operated by Peggy and Dudley Patteson. Under their leadership, this boutique hotel has been described as “America’s most acclaimed” with glowing reviews by Travel+Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, The New York Times and many more. It has perenially earned the highest rating from America’s three premiere travel guides—Frommer’s, Fodor’s and Moon.
Peggy spent 16 years at The Tides Inn serving as Director of Guest Services and a member of its Executive Committee before she and her husband purchased The Hope and Glory Inn.
Dudley was a banker and investment banker having managed corporate finance groups at banks and securities firms in Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, D.C. More recently, he held senior positions with two community banks.
